From Copper & Kings American Brandy Co. In Louisville. Blend of Muscat, Colombard, and Chenin Blanc, grown in Northern California. Twice distilled in Vendome copper pot stills, then aged for a minimum of four years in a combination of new American oak and used bourbon barrels. Most of the barrels that go into the Butchertown Reserve are 6-8 years old. Nose: Salted toffee, dark chocolate, dried orange peel, with a pleasant woody note. Gigantic texture on the palate, with dried stone fruits, baking spices, orange peel and tanned leather. Mighty warm, but not astringent in the least. A superb cask-strength brandy. Non chill-filtered, with no addition of sugar, boise, or artificial color.
