Bonnet-Cotton Brouilly "Bonnege" 2020

Typically, the domaine only produces one wine from Brouilly - 100% Cotton, a blend of two parcels - "Les Mines" and "Bonnege". In 2019, Pierre and Marine decided to make two separate cuv�es because it's the last year they will be able to harvest grapes from the Bonnege parcel, which their family has been leasing for two generations but was recently sold and reclaimed by the new owner. To make things even more confusing - because these ephemeral cuv�es only exist for one year, they decided to use the 100% Cotton labels, so the indication will only be on the back label. Certified Organic. 100% Gamay. Vineyard: Bonneges. Vine Age: planted in 1950s. Size: 2 ha. Soil: pink granite. Spontaneous fermentation with whole clusters carbonic maceration in concrete. Ageing in wooden foudre and barrels that range from 14-48 hectoliters for 8 months. No SO2 added. Unfined and unfiltered. Vegan.
