Podere Giocoli Chianti en Fiasco Diamine

Estate is run by the current generation Marco Cannoni with help from longtime regional consultant Federico Renezi. Marco started helping out at the winery when he was a kid. His grandfather made the wine, kept a little for personal consumption and sold the rest in bulk. Nowadays everything is estate bottled from 7 hectares of vines that have never seen any chemicals. Soil: Sandstone, clay and limestone. Grape: 80% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo, 5% Colorino, 5% Malvasia, 5% Trebbiano Appellation: Chianti DOCG Age of Vines: planted 1975 Yields: 40 hl/ha Certified organic. Vinification: Destemmed then fermented for 15 days. After pressing aging took place in botti before bottling in June 2019.
