Gentian is hand harvested from the Auvergne. Apparently this is the oldest Gentian liqueur from the Massif Central. Grain base. The producer splits the distillate and ages half for three years. Very similar to Suze. 16% abv. Smells like dandelions. Pleasant interplay between bitter and fruit on the finish. Earthy and root-y.
