Limited edition seasonal aperitif produced by Forthave Spirits in Brooklyn, New York. Featured botanicals include dried gentian root from the highland region of Massif Central in south-central France, lavender flowers from Goode Farm in Ballston Spa, New York, cherry blossoms from the Hudson Valley, elderflower, chamomile, and rose petals. Base distillate is non-GMO sugarcane spirit from Brazil. Gentian is macerated in steel tanks for several months; all botanicals are either macerated or distilled in a 400-liter bain marie hybrid pot still. The final blend is sweetened with grape must and raw cane sugar then rested for several months prior to bottling.
