Magisterium, meaning “teacher” in Latin, is a rich and complex blend of three rums, each one individually aged for sixteen years: the first entirely in ex–bourbon casks, the second aged nine years in ex–bourbon and then seven years in ex–Oloroso sherry casks, and the third aged three years in ex–bourbon and thirteen years in ex–Oloroso sherry casks.
