Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon
Sand and clay on top of shale. South-southwest facing parcel located at Champ sur Layon. 1/3 of the grapes are cold-macerated for three days. Free-run juice and the pressed juice are vinified separately; the wines are tasted and monitored carefully and finally blended before bottling.
Showing such typicity! Flinty and gunpowder on the nose, the palate is rosemary, poblanos, and juicy tomatoes. Super Fresh!
Very versatile wine could be enjoyed with a range of dishes and would be excellent with a roasted chicken or a stinky cheese board!
