Certified Organic. 100% Sangiovese aged in mostly cement vats following spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Based in Radda in Chianti, the Cianferoni have been harvesting these vines since the 1980's.
Harvested entirely by hand, the 2020 vintage is distinguished for its richness in fruit, all the while maintaining the winery's penchant for acid-driven Sangiovese.
A nose of golden tobacco, cherries, and leather gives way to a hugely expressive palate: beet root, olives, liquorice all come together with a waxy texture. Good for all things red sauce, meat-based, and anywhere in between.
