The entry level wine of the legendary Turley winery. The estate itself is based in Napa and was started by Larry Turley in 1993. Under Turley himself and head winemaker Tegan Passalacqua, the Turley project focuses on highlighting old vine vineyards of Zinfandel and Petite Syrah scattered throughout California. This approach has lead them to create litterally dozens of single vineyard wines to showcase the distinct fruit of the state. This particular wine however is a cuvee of several vineyards meant to showcase California Zinfandel as a whole.

The wine is made of 100% Zinfandel from younger vines, ranging from 6 to 25 years old. After a natural fermentation the wine is aged for 12 months in 80% French and 20% American oak (with 5% of that being new). It is then bottled unfined.
