Rustic and earthy. Medium-full body. High and tight tannins. Licorice, green olive, salami, speck, rosemary, dark fruited. Like Pugliese meets the Rhone via Bordeaux.
Would pair nicely with heartier fare. Lamb dishes, Middle Eastern cuisine, or even a mushroom risotto.
