80% local Black Dirt grown corn, 12% barley and 8% rye. Aged a minimum 3 years 8 months in new, charred American oak casks. 45% abv. Honey, orange peel, and a bit of gastrique (sugar and vinegar reduction) on the nose. Mustard and beeswax notes on the nose as well. There's a beautiful plump clear round fruit note in a structured frame on the front. Great rough hewn mouth feel. Buoyant and bouncy. More fruity than rich and sweet. Mid weight and a nice concise minerality.
