A Garnacha Tintorera (aka Alicante Bouchet) based wine from the natural wine collective Envinate. The Garnacha Tintorera is grown on clay/calcareous soils near the town of Albacete in southeastern Spain. Garnacha Tintorera is unique amongst vinifera varietals for having dark flesh alongside the normal dark skin. The grapes are partially fermented on the stems and aged in a mix of concrete and French barrique.
