100% Macabeu from 40 year old vines grown in calcareous soils with a lot of boulders and slate. Located on the sunny slopes of the Prades Mountains 450 meters above sea level. Selected harvest of ripe grapes in boxes of 20 kg. Hand harvested and fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. Skin maceration for 21 days. Minimal sulfites and no filtering.
We love this "orange" wine for its generosity: salted lemons meets ocean water, with a cool and savory backbone of wild herbs.
