This is THE Tequila for a whiskey drinker. An anejo from 2010 that spent 7 yrs in a mix of California and French oak barrels previously used in wine production.
Made by Enrique Fonseca of ArteNOM fame, this delights in the beautiful mango and banana nose, with toasted almonds, white pepper and allspice in the mid-palate. The finish slowly exhales green chiles to remind you this is not a whiskey, but a beatiful agave distellate made with the outmost care.
