A delicious wine from a pioneering producer. Started by Dominique Lafon in 1999, he was one of the first Cote d'Or producers to move down to the Mâconnais while still retaining manual winemaking and biodynamic practices.
This wine is made from 100% Chardonnay (of course!) that has been farmed biodynamically. The vines are 30+ years old on average. After frementation with indigenous yeasts, the young wine is aged in large, old oak barrels.
This bright yet textured wine has notes of lemon curd, flint, sage and creme fraiche. Try it with salmon, roast chicken, or any salad with a creamy dressing!
