230 Acres of organically produced Baco (for age-ability), Colombard, Ugni-Blanc and Folle Blanche. Aged in black oak barrels. 6 to 12 years old.. 40% abv. Cool dark chocolate note on the front. Cheeky baking and fruitcake spice on the mid palate. Spiced apple and pear. Nice prevalent baking spice influence. Pronounced fruit, but with focus; not tremendously rich or heavy. Chocolate. Silky mouthfeel. Dry and zesty. Real Madagascar vanilla bean on the finish. Exquisitely constructed. A stately after dinner drink, but almost gentle enough to be an aperitif in the darkest days of winter.
