First distillery on the island since the 1800's. Made in a Christian Carl copper pot still from 100% Long Island Potatoes. The raw material is Marcy White Russets, 100% of which are sourced at Ray Kioski's farm on Sound Avenue. 15 pounds of potatoes go into every bottle. Production runs from August through April. 1.5 million pounds of potatoes go through the stills during the production months. 40% abv. This one's got some flavor! Some high tones, and some body. Clean, with some interesting fruity flavors and a cool vanilla note. A ghost-like starchy chew to the finish. Becomes thicker and more mouth filling when out of the freezer.
