Cantina Massara Burlotto is run by fifth and sixth generation winemakers GianLuca and his daughter Claudia Burlotto, an offshoot of the Burlotto empire, who were foundational in establishing the quality and prestige of the wines of Barolo. Their Verduno Pelaverga is a really special expression (we think!) Of an under-appreciated grape.
On the nose flint, cedar, and roses give way to a palate of dried cherries, violets, and white peppercorns.
