A remarkable red from a sustainable estate within the small Menetou-Salon AOC. This is a region normally known for varietal Sauvignon Blanc like its neigbors Pouilly Fume and Sancerre however Menetou-Salon does make a small amount of Pinot Noir, of which this bottle is 100%. The grapes are grown on chalky soils and aged in an old 90 hectoliter oak cask.
