Hello Slopey people! When it comes to scotch, while it has a well earned reputation for excellence it also has a reputation of cost to match. This week however we wanted to show you that this is not always true with the Blend#1 from Sweetdram. This progressive blending house from Glasgow achieves bespoke favors from many moving parts. By using old grain whiskey, peated malts, and port cask finishes they achieve approachable complexity. This whisky is silky and easygoing without being boring, with notes of vanilla, cherry pits, dark chocolate and wisps of smoke. Come on down and get a bottle for yourself.
